Help Give Cloth Diapers and Hope To Families In Need

Help Give Cloth Diapers and Hope To Families In Need
We'd like to let you all know about a really great fundraising drive to help families in need receive cloth diapers. We also tip our hats to the founders and all who are working so hard at Giving Diapers, Giving Hope to help reduce the number of families who are faced with choosing between food and diapers. Here's the story behind the project and the drive:

In April 2010, Giving Diapers, Giving Hope was started by Kristen McCarthy and Emily Glover as a local cloth diaper lending foundation for Gloucester, MA.  Within weeks of beginning their local service, GDGH’s Facebook page and email inbox were full of inquiries from parents across the country.  To meet this need, Kristen and Emily decided to expand and accept applications from families throughout the United States.   Over the last 10 months, Giving Diapers, Giving Hope has already managed to help over 70 families cloth diaper their babies.

Because Giving Diapers, Giving Hope expanded so rapidly to meet the needs of families, they are still working to obtain enough funding to file for their 501 c3.  A 501 c3 is needed to become a recognized Non- Profit and will further their ability to help lend free cloth diapers to families in need.

In addition to filing for the 501 c3 Giving Diapers, Giving Hope will use funds raised to purchase office supplies such as business cards and letterheads, packaging materials, and buy supplies needed to repair donated diapers that need them.

On January 25 the Facebook Fundraising Campaign is open from January 25 through February 14 with over $1,700 worth of prizes. Check out the Fundraiser Announcement post and all of the prizes are listed on the Dirty Diaper Laundry Facebook Page. To enter, just like the sponsor’s pages using the easy Rafflecopter widget to be entered to win those prizes.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s light weight, basic, and made of a rain coat type material. I plan to use this in the pool this summer for my 10 month old when juggling my other two.

This is our favorite carrier we’ve used. It’s so much lighter than any other carrier we’ve used and baby girl loves it!

Perfect baby carrier for us. It's lightweight but still supportive. It has a nice, good look to it. It's also practically made and the zipper/pocket storage is great. Also, I can take this anywhere with us because it's compact.

I bought this because I needed a carrier to take my son with me on hikes, it works really well for us. I use it for everything from taking him on errands to doing chores around the house.
