I am having trouble using my Boba Carrier or Boba Wrap
We get it. Baby carriers, especially wraps, can be a little confusing at first. And since the Boba Wrap is made of high-quality stretch material, tying one is different than your average baby wrap. Read our tips for a perfect fit so you and your little one can get out and see the world together safely, stylishly and super-duper comfortably. You can also check our instructions and safety tips page for other wrap help, plus tips for the Boba Carrier and Boba Air.
Still feeling iffy? Feel free to send a photo of yourself wearing the carrier or wrap to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’d be happy to take a look and give you some pointers.
Can my baby face forward in your products?
We do not recommend carrying your child facing forward in a Boba Wrap, Boba Carrier or any babywearing device for any amount of time. This position causes undue pressure on your child’s pelvis and spine and it can throw off the wearer’s center of gravity. What’s more, if your little adventurer is being worn facing out with unsupported legs, it can create unnatural and uncomfortable arching of the back. Ouch.
Carrying your baby facing into your chest is the most ergonomic and comfortable position for both baby and wearer. The Boba Wrap is recommended for use with the front carry, inward facing position, and the Boba Carrier is recommended for both front and back carry positions (both inward-facing, as well).
Can I purchase replacement parts for my older generation Boba?
Unfortunately, our replacement hood, foot straps and infant insert will not work on all Boba Carrier generations. The hood and foot straps will work with the 3G and 4G models, and the infant insert is exclusively designed for our 4G carriers. If you are looking for replacement buckles, please contact us at email@example.com or call 888-567-9727.
What is the difference between the Boba Carrier 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G?
The main difference is that we just keep improving our models to offer more of the features moms and dads want. For instance, the 3G and 4G can be worn with newborns (hooray!). We’ve also widened the seat and elongated the shoulder straps. And the integrated, easy-snap infant insert in the 4G makes it easier to use the carrier with two children (going from toddler to infant) without having to switch buckles. Stuff like that.
Are your products machine washable?
They sure are. We suggest spot cleaning regularly and washing only when necessary to extend the life of your carrier. When washing the Boba Carrier, use cold water, set your machine on the delicate cycle and hang dry. For the Boba Wrap, do it on delicate with cold water and tumble dry on low.
