Additional Fit Features

PERFECT FIT ADJUSTERS

In order to find your perfect fit, you can use the perfect fit adjusters. Tighten the PFA’s on the top buckle to bring the strap padding closer to the panel of the carrier to fit your shape. Tightening the PFA’s is very helpful for petite wearers.

PANEL ADJUSTERS

The Boba X is designed to fit your baby through their many stages. In order to adjust the carrier to match the height of your baby, you can tighten or loosen the strap on the bottom of the buckle. Shorten the panel to fit your newborn and lengthen as they grow! Tip: the hood pocket should be at neck height.

HOOD SUPPORT

The hood acts as additional neck and head support for smaller babies - simply leave it rolled in the pocket when the panel is shortened.

Another popular way to back carry - the "Walk like an Egyptian" method

The Pelvic Tuck

The aim of the pelvic tuck is to support your baby from knee-to-knee, all across their back, up to the back of the neck, and position their knees at hip height or higher - this is called the pelvic tuck! (Check out the video below to see what we mean!)

To allow your baby's body to drop into the ergonomic "M" position - with knees high than bottom - you may need to slightly loosen the shoulder straps to allow more slack in the body of the carrier. Then simply perform a pelvic tuck and tighten the shoulder straps appropriately.

Additional X Features

CROSS-STRAP VARIATION

The Boba X offers the ability to front carry with the straps crossed behind your back. Many wearers find this feels more comfortable and secure, especially for those who are petite or small-framed. Wearing with the straps crossed still provides the same great support and ergonomic position for your baby, so experiment to find what feels right!

BREASTFEEDING BUCKLE

The Boba X features a unique quick-release breastfeeding buckle so you can nurse on the go! Simply loosen the buckle on one or both sides of the carrier to allow more room for your baby to comfortably breastfeed. Want more breastfeeding tip and tricks? Check out the link to our blog post above!

PURSE/BAG STRAP

Did we think of everything?! Yes! The Boba X comes with two secure straps (one on each shoulder) to hold your purse or bag in place while babywearing.

Additionally, secure a toy onto the shoulder strap to distract those little grabbing hands or soothe a teething baby.

DETACHABLE HOOD

The hood works great as protection from direct sunlight or wind when using either the front or back carry. The hood can easily be removed by unsnapping the three snaps at the base of the hood, or roll the hood up and leave the straps hanging. This makes it easy to reach the hood when back carrying. The hood can also be used as a nursing cover, to permit discreet nursing.

WAIST POCKET

The Boba X conveniently provides 3 pockets to keep your phone, keys, some teething toys, and some snacks for you!

WAISTBAND

The Boba X has one of the most adjustable waistbands on the market! It easily adjusts from 25" to 58", making the Boba X a great choice for petite and plus-size wearers alike. Sharing has never been so easy!
